Rakk DAC "hibernating "

Anybody is aware of the fix for supposedly known bug on Rakk dac board which causes it to hibernate if disconnected from the power supply? Mine was doing it from time to time which wasn't a big problem since I tended to keep it on but I wasn't using it for a longer time and it does not want to "wake up" anymore. I emailed Dave but do not count on response since he is no longer associated with audio so it seems.
