What works better for the K-enclosures - MDF or plywood?

I think plywood is better although Willem Noorloos used MDF or HDF - -factory Karlson had extra stiffness due to formica covering - -I had a big radial on top of K15 sound good (maybe better than 511) but was ~33" wide

  Wow! Those are sharp looking. Does it matter whether you front or rear mount the driver in a Karlson on the angled baffle?

    might change tone a tiny bit (?) - all my K are rear mounted - Les Hudson and Carl Neuser sometimes use front mount - Willem really liked K15 and said could get 130dB peaks and power not obtainable with his former Cerwin Vega 15" reflex
