I built this style of box about 30 years ago for that driver.

It was either 8 or 10 cu ft and tuned to around 30hz.

It worked (made noise), but deep bass? Well.....not really.

If you actually expect deep bass then a BLH is what JBL sold for this driver 50 years ago.

Thanks for the reply. Serge Schmidlin of Audio Consulting (Supravox & silver) in Switzerland replied and forwarded the whole article with the Onken W plans in it. What kind of sound did you get, aside from a lack of deep bass? What qualities did it have?

Forgive my ignorance and lack of enquiry but where can I find plans for this BLH as originally recommended?
