Dan,
I assume you tried one or both of these email addresses? (If not, please try them both)
maxonic [at] srcc [dot] co [dot] jp
info [at] srcc [dot] co [dot] jp
I have never actually used either of the above email addresses since I always communicate with a particular individual there. If the above email address does not work, please send me your email address (my email address is given below) and I'll make sure someone from Maxonic gets in touch with you. I believe they just hired someone to field inquiries from overseas, but I have not met her.
My email is
cdwitmer [at] spamcop [dot] net
Sometimes when I get busy with my work (language support for large international structured finance projects) I may be unable to access my email for a few days. If I don't reply to an email within 48 hours, that may be the reason. In any case I don't mind people sending me a follow-up reminder email if they didn't receive a response to a query.

Follow Ups:
Hello Chris
I sent them some mails as well but they don't response. Do they only have interest in Japanese customers?
Regards
Joao
Maxonic is definitely interested in overseas distribution!
However they just recently hired someone to interface with people overseas, and -- like many small high end Japanese audio manufacturers, especially during their startup phase -- they have trouble communicating effectively with people in English.
The company behind Maxonic is not huge, but it isn't a tiny handful of people either. They have several business lines that are partially interrelated, such as their own original SIT transistors around which they have built some VERY nice amplifiers.
Anyway, it will take them some time to get their act together on international marketing, but I expect them to be around for a long time to come, and to do some very interesting things, so it will be worth the right company's patience to do business with them.
If any of you have access to Japanese "MJ" (Musen to Jikken) magazine, there is an article on Maxonic in the latest issue that was just published here in Japan the other day. I haven't seen it yet . . .
xx
