All public forums have rules and community norms. I too enjoyed Romy's audio observations, however I recognize his verbal abuse of other asylum members often crosses the line and goes beyond what is accepted here. I am afraid your appeal will not be granted simply because it is Romy himself who refuses to behave like an adult, exhibit just a little self control. Can you imagine what every board on the internet would be like if everyone could empty their bladder anytime they liked? regards, T

OK, I guess that if it were a matter of cost, maybe editing content to save bandwidth would be a legitimate practice. But, as we all know, tolerating Romy is, well, priceless...so why can't we do it? Is it just a question of his style of expression?
I like Romy and visit his website on occasion. There's no doubt that he has great experience and knowledge about audio/horns. And he's even willing to help people if they do their homework first.
But, when he gets a wild hair up his ass, he can really go after people. And he often lacks the ability to let go of things or people that bother him. The Bored gave Romy many "time outs" to calm down and he would create endless sockpuppets/false identities to continue harassing people or badmouth the Bored. I'm not talking one or two false identities, more like 20 or 30, maybe more.
Like it or not, this is their house and they do not have tolerate someone calling them names non-stop. Nonetheless, Romy is an acquired taste and definitely has a lot of interesting insights o share on music, horn design, life, etc. If only he could really that info in a more palatable manner.
