Who was First Denon MG-X or Sony Metal master?

Industries tends to copy others I am a bit curious here
Since both Denon Mg-X and Sony metal master "Design" Look a bit same

Also i doubt Sony was First out with expensive Metal tapes
Tdk Ma-R metal already came in 1981 and Tdk Ma-XG in 1986
Sony didnt release some expensive metal until Sony metal master (1992?)

Also Sony always released to compete with others
Like when TDK released Ma-XG sony released Metal master
and talking about Minidisc when TDK released XA-Pro Sony released Md2000

Is like SONY did lot of pro stuff but only after others like TDk did it.

Ok so we have Denon Mg-X and Sony metal master both made of ceramic composite only a slight difference in the design.

Who was first Denon or Sony?

I belive Denon but does any have the dates
Denon Mg-X or sony metal master came in production?

I only know that TDK Ma-R was 1981 and TDK MA-XG 1986 (updated in 1991)
and the Taiyo yuden souno i think from around 1992

I know Super metal master (Update to metal master) was released in 1994/1995 so metal master must be from 1991-1993?

Any ideas?
