Directed by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson is a documentary about the Harlem Culture Festival that took place over six weeks in the summer of 1969. The footage was shopped around but nobody wanted anything to do with it and it sat in a basement until now. I watched it with tears in my eyes, how could so much great music be forgotten for so long.
