Line array and Passive Radiator?

Posted by npuls on August 20, 2007 at 15:50:59:

I built a knockoff pair of the partsexpress.com Kuse 3201s using 18 3" drivers in 8" pipe that was 6ft tall they are in a large area (in the hayloft of a barn) and they sound phenominal... I had some drivers left so I put them in a hexagon shaped enclosure about 3 ft tall and 6" on each side... I put 9 of the drivers on one side and they sound ok - I know that there is some low frequencies hanging out in there - Would you put a passive radiator in the bottom of a line array? I know very little about this and would like to learn... I currently have them ported but there is no rhyme or reason to the port - It just looked right
