Stax sr-5 vs. Lambda

Posted by lesleymorley@yahoo.com on June 2, 2013 at 21:07:37:

I recently purchased a pair of Stax SR-5 Earspeakers, and they have turned me into a headphone junkie. I really enjoy them, and am having great listening sessions with headphones for the first time in my life.
I can't really afford the newer Stax phones, but I see some of the older Lambdas on Ebay for affordable prices, and am wondering what kind of improvements (if any) I could expect with them.
I listen mostly to jazz and small group classical music.
