That's why i asked because i can't see spending money on something you can DIY. I don't have the electrical background to know what upgrades would be worthwhile like you mentioned. I do have the equipment and knowledge to perform the task in hand. Keep us updated on your discoverings when they come. Maybe some of this is in the DIY section of the asylum, need to do some more searching, Thanks.
