I made a trip up to Amoeba and Record Surplus in L.A. today, and I have to say that vinyl is expensive in San Diego. Some things I was paying $7, $8 or even $10 for in SD were under $2 at Record Surplus (and we're talking clean copies). Record Surplus also has a $0.92/record area in their loft area. Very friendly guys there, too. Amoeba was good, too, but not as impressive as Record Surplus. This is about 2.5 hours North of San Diego, a full daytrip, but was very worth it for me.
