Yay! Ortofon M2 series has threaded holes!

The M2 Blue moving magnet arrived yesterday. I was thrilled that it has threaded 5 mm holes. They warned against using aluminum screws. I did not read the directions first and could not understand why my aluminum screws would not thread. Finally I used the supplied steel screws without a hitch. Love that quick install.
The stealth fighter-like body is way cool. Also the stylus will never be bootlegged. The tooling to produce such a complex shape would be big bucks. It's unusual to say the least and not just because of the facets.
I've been a moving coil guy for a long time. The M2 manual claims that it is the first all new design for them in many years. I know the OM/10/20/30/40 was introduced in 1983. I'm not sure about the 500 series moving magnets. To sample the latest thinking in mm design will be fun.
Ortofon is not calling this a VMS (variable magnetic shunt) design. If it sounds as good as the legendary M20FL Super I'll be very pleased, however.
