You can download the manual from Vinyl Engine. The mk 2 schematic shows three wires from transformer to board in the usual bipolar supply format (two supply plus centre tap). It would appear that the broken wire is one of the supply wires, although the colours shown in the manual do not match the colours on your transformer.
An easy way to check is to use a multimeter to measure the voltage between each possible pair amongst the three wires from the transformer when powered up. I think the transformer puts out about 2 x 12V AC (it's not specified in the manual).
