mind it is tubed only to the extent that it uses 2 12AX7s as a final buffer stage. All of the gain stages are SS op amps. If you want a great all-tube phono stage and can handle simple soldering, check out the Hagerman Cornet II (link). It is a killer pre for the $$$.
