How to clean the inner cone of loudspeakers

I have in my vinyl sound system a pair of TANNOY D-700 speakers. The performance continue very good, but when I remove the grille I observe that the inner cone of the dual concentric drive unit are very dirty. Please, can anyone says me how to clean that delicate element without damage?
