In addition to what Phil said the dust cover needs to be boxed separately also of course. One other thing to watch for is the motor needs to be secured as it can easily rip right through the mounting grommets during rough handling. I had two Empire motors do this being shipped to me. Then the grommets are probably ruined and the motor is free to bounce around and break things. The wood bases are very weak especially at the corners so the base should have solid Styrofoam sheet built up around it. Also, don't let them tape anything directly to the tone arm or anywhere to the gold finish as it may mar the finish..
