I think I understand perfectly that you've never heard an accurate digital recording. The accuracy of your system or mine is totally irrelevant as long as an accurate digital recorder is connected to the same system. Furthermore, you have no personal experience or knowledge with my system and you have no valid way to know its resolution compared to yours or anyone else's.

You've obviously never compared recordings from an accurate digital recorder.

You are totally wrong if you truly believe this.

This is a totally erroneous analogy and here is the reason why. Both film and HD projection rely on pixels that the human eye must integrate into a contiguous picture. All you are telling me is that HD projection does not have the same pixel density as film. As soon as HD projection attains the same pixel density as film, it will look the same. Furthermore, when HD projection attains greater pixel density than film it will appear more accurate than film.

On the other hand, digital audio does not require the human ear to integrate the samples into a contiguous analog waveform. This is done entirely within the digital system electronically and the waveform sent out from the digital system is purely and totally analog in the same sense as the waveform set out from a phono cartridge. All one needs to do is compare the analog waveform from a digital reproduction to the analog waveform from an LP reproduction and they will understand just how much more accurate digital is than vinyl. This is apparently something you've never done. Furthermore, you've obviously never had an accurate digital recording to do it with.

I wish you better luck in the future.
