I went from the low pressure arm manifold/Wisa pump, original setup to the then just released, high pressure manifold/shop air. This was a long time ago (20 years?) so my memory is weak but IIRC the low pressure manifold was run at 7 to 10 psi.
I recall running the high pressure manifold at 38-40 psi.
The arm was used when I got it and I really don't know how much of the Wisa pump got through the filter and how much was residual matter from regular use.
I had a State-of-the-Art DeVilbiss moisture/oil separator and filter system on the high pressure setup that retailed for about $1200 in 1989 dollars (thank goodness I ran maintenance in a paint shop for a large metal office furniture manufacturer!).
The arm was magical when it was all sorted out but getting there was a challenge.
I regret selling that setup.
