Very retro modern. You mentioned the DOA Jelco arm, was it just busted wire or are there other more difficult issues?I am going to work on some main bearing isolation on my ROK this summer. A cld sandwich with sorbothane like I did on my Thorens project table.
However since the vibration may be coming from the idler tire, I think I might decouple the spindle from the main platter bearing as well.
Love your project.
After hearing the idler magic I wonder if I would ever be able to plunk down more than a grand for a turntable when there are so many great idlers out there on the used market.
