I've got 23 hours on mine and can't believe how good it is.
I ripped Sticky Finger to ceedee last night. Now, I've got two copies of SF--one is groove damaged, the other isn't and being an olddude I can never remember which is which.
I ripped what I thought was the clean copy, but was unfortunately the damaged copy.
No matter. Listening to the ceedee earlier today, the AT440MLa not only revealed detail and nuance I never knew existed on this record, it minimized the groove damage as well. This particular LP was unlistenable before, now it's at least tolerable.
Can't wait to hear the clean copy!
