I rather liked the Expedit style, too, but these were a better fit for him.If you ever get the chance, think about front-facing shelving. I made my own using kitchen cabinets for the "bottoms" and use these for storage. On top, I built bins like the ones you see in record stores, but with styling and high-end laminates. SO much easier to look at the LP's. One you go this way, you'll never go back! HA! One caveat, you need a big room to accommodate shelves holding a few thousand LP's.
