Interesting point that I happen to agree with.....

Regardless of the number of pops or clicks.....

If you go to a live performance you are going to hear people cough, sneeze, move their chairs or creak away....There is lots of extraneous noise in any live venue.

So I try to remember to focus on the performance and not on the failings of vinyl. There are many failings by the way, but vinyl also has a seductive live quality to it that I only hear from 24/96 DVD concert recordings.

I have good cd's and good dvd-a recordings that are every bit as enjoyable as an LP.

I think your overall point it to just enjoy the music. The music is why we spend the time and effort to dialing in all the details of high fidelity sound preproduction.
