First, a vacuum RCM can help reduce surface noise on older LPs IF that noise is caused by "groove grunge." If it is simply a worn or damaged LP, no amount of cleaning will make it quiet again.
Also, there are different types of "groove grunge" that require different types of cleaners. There is no single cleaner that will do it all.
Do a search (text to find box) for vacuum RCM and you will get tons of info.
