I changed my III to a IV with what was called an 'Aries black' platter, new bearing assembly, and the 4 pucks. Don't forget you'll need a new armboard, since the IV platter is so tall.None of this stuff is listed on Elusive Disc anymore. I recall some subtle bass clarity improvements at the time, but I was still mightily conflicted over the $700 outlay. Price/return ratio was very steep, IMO. But what's new in this game...
