The Whest Audio PS20/MSU20 phono stage uses discrete amplification and sounds really nice. Some posts about the Whest reported RF breakthrough but I have had no such problems, I think it was on the early models something to do with the loading plugs. I sold my Bent Audio MU transformers because the Whest sounded so much better in its MC mode.Regards,
