Hi,l had a Orbe for around 4 years(SME V, Helikon),when l purchased it,l did not have time to go and listen in London to an Avid Volvere,-and guess what,heard the Volvere at various shows,and was blown away by the sound,anyway sold the Orbe,and bought secondhand Volvere in chrome,in sound quality terms to my ears the Volvere made the Orbe sound not too clever,it was better in every way,as il have stated in previous posts you simply have to listen to this T/T,it is built like a tank andservicing,spares are easy to come by,l if l can help you anymore feel free to E-mail me,as l said above l cannot believe how good this T/T is-Happy new year.
