My shelter 501 is 16.6mm from LP to headshell, compliance is 9.
To sell a tonearm without listing affective mass is not acceptable. Shame on you Rega.
I had an OL Encounter (effective mass 14.5). It was working well but the sound was far from perfect and certainly not fantastic. In my system it was too bright, too edgy, with audible distortions from bad antiskate design, irritating in a long run.
