For me the biggest improvemnet came with the addition of the flywheel and SDS. Reason being is the motor is on a separate shelf physically separeted from the table except for the belts between the motor and flywheel.It lowered the noise floor and improved detail. But then, again, my Koetsu Rosewood is no slouch either!
