I use a V15 Type II with the JICO SAS stylus and it's fantastic. It's not as sweet sounding as my Grado, but the tracking is far, far better. It also seems to ride below the noise on a lot of the used records I pick up. It has much tighter and yet more abundant bass than the m97xe. I'd say the highs we're similar, but with somewhat more detail on the V15, probably because of the very small tip.
