The VTAF that will be on it's way will have the plastic tube thing. I wanted to try it on the Thorens but that is up on blocks.Now that I can envision how I want to add the armboard I am going to need one of those anyway ... they are cheap <$10, probably closer to $5.
You couldn't squeeze the busing into the hole, the hole turned out to be the same size as the Rega standard mounting hole. I lined 'em up exactly. I appreciate the loan anyway. In sliding the adjuster I can see how you might want the Teflon upgrade. With the slight weight of the arm and moving it on the fly smoothness counts. Nicely machined thing isn't it?
