I'm considering replacing the stock Technics arm on an SL-1300 MKII with an AT 1005 MKII. My thinking at the moment is to completely remove all mechanical / electrical parts of the Technics arm, making this a manual table. I'm also thinking of fashioning a tonearm mounting board to replace what is now in the Technics. Anybody have any idea whether or not I'm about to open a can of worms?
Thanks,
Ken
