I'll bet the tape that is used is one that Rhino has under it's control. If you look at most reissues of Warner/Reprise products from the classic rock era, the Rhino company logo is on it. It may,however, sound very good if it is handled properly, preferably by Kevin Gray. DCC had mastered and pressed test pressings of Blue right as they went under. I hear they are beautiful. Any reissue of this record on quiet vinyl is most welcome at this point. I have in my collection a white label, an original Reprise and a japanese pressing. The sonics are good on all but the japanese pressing remains my favorite for the silent pressing.
