I don't mean to speak for him, but the problem is that the Wright has 65db output. This makes for an immense amount of output when using a 1:10 tranny. I have my Wright turned down as far as possible for this reason. At about 1/3 volume it was overloading my preamp and making distortion. It is a great phono preamp, but maybe too much outputBTW, its good to see you back. I haven't seen you around these parts lately.
