Respectfully-
With the AT and Denon sub-$500 carts often mentioned here, these hard plastic footers at $240 are IMHO, a flat rip and a very tough sell.If these are the Real Deal, why doesn't current VPI production use these?
Why aren't they listed on the current VPI price sheet?
Are they on an "option list" when ordering a Scout?VPI & the referenced vendor,(Max Margin), have a relationship for moving VPI "upgrade" kits and parts. There was a cone footer thingie I tried for the -19 table that was a non-starter. Flimsy as hell.
"The result is a lower noise floor, tighter bass and improved overall clarity and soundstage for your ... (insert product type here)."
The accesory/tweak boilerplate ad copy has just worn thin with me.
