An amazing first!!

I was watching the movie "The Matador" (Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear) the other night and there's a scene where Pierce's character puts on an LP and lo and behold, there was no Hollywood record noise! I couldn't believe it! I bet the sound effects guy got fired for leaving that out.
On the other hand, I've always wanted to do a comedic scene where a guy puts on a record and the noise is deafening, everyone's covering their ears, and the music can't be made out at all. :)
