HEMA is a big chain store here in Holland, a kinda Dutch Walmart on a smaller scale of course. It's as mainstream as it gets, every town over 10.000 people has a Hema. I got a Hema brochure in my mailbox. On page two (2) they offer this plastic fantastic TT with built-in phono preamp.
I'll try to translate the sales blurb as it's pretty funny.
"A birthday party should swing! So get those LP's out of your rack and push the furniture aside! With this unique Hema pickup you really get the party going on. And when you buy two of them, you're a DJ!"
