Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Omar and the Howlers "I Told You So" and Jason and the Scorchers "Fervor"...

Got a sealed copy of "I Told You So" (1984 Austin Records) and it's a winner. Much better sonics than their "Hard Times In The Land Of Plenty" lp, which is very dynamic, but too bright for my ears. "I Told You So" is well balanced with crisp guitar work and natural sounding vocals. Nicely engineered. Loves to be cranked up to get those feet a stompin'.

Jason's lp ("mini lp" they call it) is also a winner. I really love the first side with "Absolutely Sweet Marie" (B.Dylan), "Help There's A Fire", and "I Can't Help Myself". How can you not enjoy that punk country rock sound on a Friday night! 1983 EMI America.
