Stick to established hi-quality audiophile labels or original labels to have the best chance of getting new records that sound nearly as good to better than the original released vinyl. If it's one of my favorite LPs or bands the original and several reissues might end up in my collection.

At one time I would only buy a relatively costly reissues after I owned an original or early press. But the cost of clean early pressings makes a bargain out of audiophile label reissues and lossless Qobuz or Tidal do a great job in eliminating the need for an early/first press first press to decide if I like the music well enough to spring for a relatively costly reissue.
