Henry was an intelligent and informed contributor to the Vinyl Asylum, and the place has been poorer for lack of his input.

I'm personally grateful to him for saving me some money and frustration. One of the popular topics here from 10-15 years ago was the SAS replacement styli for Shure (and other) cartridges, which he had experience with.

I had (and still have) a Shure VST V cartridge. While it has almost no hours on the stylus, I was concerned about the age of the suspension. Since Henry and I had similar tastes in cartridges, and he had experience with the SAS in a Shure, I emailed him to ask how the SAS/Shure might compare with my Dynavector DV-20X2L, telling him I was considering a SAS stylus.

His advice? "Save your money. If it's musical pleasure you're after, stick with the Dynavector!"
