Music or alignment LP? Regardless, may I humbly suggest setting crosstalk for the lowest value/best balance. It requires both azimuth and zenith be optimal and is electrically measurable - a DMM at the speakers or an o-scope at the phono or phono pre. Then tune by ear (VTF/VTA) with a music LP.
