my only thought is the obvious, that the internet is forever , and any review or opinion must be considered within the context of the times back when it was generated. A model T is still an excellent car, but things have moved on , what with all the paved roads and all.

I wish I knew more, as I am thinking about replacing the techno arm on my Michell table, even though I think it a great value , has solid design principles and features , , and was actually voiced by old man Michell to approximate the sound of an SME "V" arm on a gyro table, because that was the arm he used to finalize the sound of the Gyro table when he developed that product, perhaps thirty years before he did the arm, which is just a modified Rega 250, in my case. ( rega has now improved the arm casting)

origin live used to modify rega arms, than advanced to their own design, which would be pointless if they couldn't beat a modified Rega, even one with the benefit of synchronicity between table and arm. beating an SME "V" today would be an obsolete goal , product design, manufacturing and materials have advanced .

I particularly like that the unipivot designs, universal regarded as having the best sonic solution with a single contact point, but the lousiest mechanical solution, because they lack stability in heavily modulated grooves, are now being improved, with the blackbird design adding stability to a single contact design and origin live and others just using a second contact point to create stability.
