The spoiled children of Kings... maybe, but maybe not.

As far as the children of Kings go... it depends. Many EC royal families have traditions of sending their kids to be educated at Abbey or Priory schools, often Boarding Schools, so that the parents don't have to interact with the kids so much. And other people have to do the Discipline, and cope with the Drama.

My youngest brother was studying Philosophy in Liechtenstein, and he was out walking with a friend, and his fried whispered "Nod politely to that guy, but don't try to engage him in conversation." It was the Prince, out for a stroll, no retainers, no bodyguards.

In my (limited) experience, a type that seems to win collectable auctions is, kids whose fathers made a certain amount of money in plumbing supplies or some other prosaic traditional business, or whatever; and then the sons leverage that nest egg into a video-game fortune or some such thing. Or a pro football franchise, which is where the "Dark Side of the Moon" guitar went.
