There is nothing magnetizable in a CD and even if there are some trace iron particles in either the aluminum metal layer or the graphics paint it would not produce a magnetic field string than the local Earth's magnetic field. 24k gold CDs obviously have zero trace elements that are magnetizable.So it must be something else.
