I checked the manual and it says 5V @ 2.1A. OK, now I feel better....

You freaked me out! I built a 5V regulated supply using the LM350 and have it set exactly at 5Vrms.
I checked the manual and it says 5V @ 2.1A. OK, now I feel better....
