Any formulas out in audio land to compute total watts?
The reason I am asking my amp is rated at 50 watts into 8 ohms,I understand that this is equivalent to 72 watts at 4 ohms.
Therefore 63 watts at 6 ohms?
I just went from 14 awg speaker wire to 11 awg wire.
The resistance has been cut by about 30%.
Does this translate to 30% more wattage?
I understand that the output is frequency dependent.
