Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

im rebuilding a very simple crossover for my benjamin emi model 62. It has a 3 position brilliance control with another cap, but i'm eliminating them. It seems that the woofer operates full range and the remaining single cap and inductor only effect the tweeter which is a small paper cone ( coax) The remaining cap is 2 uf and rated at 150v. the cheapest copper foil cap that is 2uf that i can find is only rated at 100v ( jupiter brand) everything else is rated much higher, and is too expensive. Its an extremely efficient speaker, so should never see much power. is this capacitor ok in this application?
