Lokie, that AA32 had all new orange caps in it and the controls and switches have never made a pop. It was a lucky find and put the myth of the passive preamp to rest for me. My father had built one long ago and I remember listening to Light My Fire when it just came out. I got it hooked up to a pair of home made Weems pipes with the added woomp of a Parts Express Titanic 12 inch sub. Got my Danish Vifa co-ax's for 25 bucks, close out.
