RE: How small can a tweak be and still affect the sound? Nt

Being serious, the project that I am working on, for best quality, depending on the parameter, can require 0.0001dB accuracy. One set of parameters needs another decade of accuracy. Of course, that error is magnified, so that the actual difference might be audible distortion. For frequency response in the 9kHz region (one of the hinge points that I deal with), a 0.1dB error is obnoxious.
(These are actual approx technical numbers for a highly, very highly sophisticated project.)
The project is one of the most sophisticated and complex audio processing software ever done. There is the need for serious accuracy in some areas.

Regarding the other kind of tweak -- it chews holes in one's nose and heart -- bad stuff...
