RE: Use Resistor to change speaker from 8 ohm to 4 ohm?

The data sheet says the speaker is 15 ohms.

To get a 4 ohm load from a 15 ohm speaker the parallel resistor needs to be 5.5 ohms. The resistor will suck up most of the power.

That doesn't sound like anything I would do.
