I replaced a PS Audio UPC-200's (essentially a dual bank UO) stock nickel plated IEC inlet with a Furutech INLET(G) IEC inlet. It's a perfect fit, so there was no need to enlargen the opening. Rather than use the stock push-on connectors, I soldered the wires to the IEC inlet's solder tabs. Since I replaced the stock AC outlets at the same time as the stock IEC inlet, I can't really comment on any particular sonic betterment due to the upgraded IEC inlet, alone.
